Congratulations to the Stevens Concert Band I, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble on your Superior performances at UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest this week.  Your band directors are extremely proud of your accomplishments this year!

Early rehearsals are over for these groups although students involved in the Stevens Full Orchestra will have a couple of early rehearsals prior to the concert in May.

What a terrific year!

The hard work and dedication of the students in all band classes will soon come to fruition.  I do hope all the bands receive the coveted first division rating but regardless of the ratings, please know that the process of learning is so much more important than a trophy.  Every band has shown much growth and development in the band music world.  The learning will not stop after this week. EARLY REHEARSALS WILL THOUGH! :)

I wish all the bands much success this week!  Go Falcons!
